Beginner’s Tips for Mindfulness/ Meditation Plan

 Ok, Beginners. You are a meditator, Repeat after me…”Meditation is easy and I got this”.

Guided Meditation is an easy first step. Please remember your first meditation of the day will be filled with thoughts. But the second meditation can often lead to you “dropping in the zone”. If you choose to use a mantra, start by saying it out loud and then gradually repeat it silently in your head.

Sample 30-minute Mindfulness Morning Practice

  • Meditation or hypnosis 20 minutes
  • Create 6 goals cards/ intentions for the next 3-6 months. Review the list or cards each morning. (Super Star Extra Credit Assignment: Create a mind movie or slide to watch twice per day.)
  • Journal for 3-5 minutes- Written, video, or text into phone
